Pros

I started my role at Dean Medical Group back when it was entirely community based.

Cons

SSM Health is far too focused on St Louis MO centralization and not the local patient community needs.

Pros

Good benefits, higher pay than other agencies/hospitals, supportive management, ability to self-schedule, good work-life balance

Cons

HR is stingy and will not approve raises. I have better performance metrics than several coworkers who make more money than I do. Hard work is not rewarded! Also the no-fault attendance policy is ridiculous—missing work is a demerit no matter the excuse, cannot use PTO for scheduled weekends.
