Pros
In theory, the mission is great. There are many employees who are fantastic & truly put their heart into their work.
Cons
SSM Health’s upper management (in Patient Access Services at least) promotes a culture of bullying. If you demonstrate any sort of threat to their job security (ie working hard & being knowledgeable & outspoken) prepare to be harassed until it drives you out of the company. Don’t think about reporting the harassment either. They are not above retaliation & HR provides little to no support.
