Pros

Great benefits; 401k match hard to beat, on-site gym, and medical benefits are good. Great employees and teamwork, collaboration within department and outside department was done very well and highly successful. Communication was excellent amongst team members.

Cons

Promotions or lateral movement difficult. There is a lot of emphasis on mistakes but very little feedback for job well done.

Large amount of chiefs (upper management), inability to know everyone or work with everyone in the organization due to the amount of staff members, individual voices are sometimes not heard.

Innovation is important to remaining competitive in our industry and also something we encourage. Employees are encouraged to participate in our “Innovation Station” where they can submit ideas that help improve processes, procedures and products. Our hope is that this tool allows ideas to be heard and implemented across the credit union. Thank you for the review!

Thank you for your honest feedback. We are sorry to hear that your time with STCU was less than ideal. As an organization we strive to provide robust training opportunities, so we really appreciate you letting us know we missed the mark here. We are happy to report there have been positive changes made this year to improve the training process for new team members and increase the stability and cohesiveness within the department. The team is excited to finish the year with a strong commitment to providing world class member service.
