Pros

Great company in a great industry. STERIS does not see the economic ups and downs that a lot of other companies see. It is well-diversified. And the management team cares about the people! I've had tons of opportunities to leave for other companies but I've always chosen to stay. No regrets at all!!

Cons

The 4 Business Segments tend to be a bit siloed so movement between Segments can be limited unless you are proactive.

The following cons are for L&T employees only: 1) The employees are supposed to work 8 am to 6 pm, and taking a lunch break is frowned upon. 2) Very high expectations, I was asked to give KT in the first week of joining. 3) There is no network in the office, so you would have to leave the office even to make a call or order food. 4)The campus is isolated with no restaurants nearby, the lawn does not have benches either. You would have to eat at your table and get frowned upon for doing so.
