      Pros

      SUN does offer a competitive pay scale

      Cons

      Violations occur regularly. Poor customer service...patients often wait more than 5 hours to be admitted, while staff have no sense of urgency. Children, adolescents and assaultive adult patients share the same waiting room.

      Pros

      SUN as a corporation truly believes in its mission - to solve unmet needs in the community. SUN believes in maintaining patient dignity and respect which inevitably trickles down to the staff who are the product. The leadership team is unlike any I have been a part of. It is warm, inviting, inclusive, cohesive and magnetic. There is a special energy throughout the hospital that many speak of but cannot describe. SUN values differences and truly encourages.

      Cons

      SUN is a younger company which comes with some growing pains - but, we Solve Unmet Needs while we overcome obstacles together!

      Our patients keep me coming back every day. With such a need for SUN’s services in a community I love, I am proud of the efforts made to help begin a path to recovery and wellness.

      Without superior time management and organizational skills, it can become a stressful work environment.
