There are no pros to working here.

Cons

This in not a good place to work. Management play favoritism, and when an employee needs time off for personal reasons is not reasonable regarding the request. They are not flexible in regards to policies that have not been created or trying to be helpful with regards to assistance. Management is not truthful with staff or with hospital organizations. There is no security and staff have been punched, bitten, spit upon, kicked and threatened by patients. Nursing staff are expected to work short and under unsafe working conditions. Would not recommend this organization to family or friends for treatment or employment.

Compensation, and great coffee machine.

Cons

Extremely disorganized. Staffing so low it's possibly illegal. Night shift supervisor on weekdays literally goes to different units stating, "I heard a rumor..." She will ask you personal questions about your plans and decisions for the future and if you do not give the right answer: "That's horrible." (not just a one time occurrence), first time training when you are " shadowing," you will be counted as a body on the floor, and possibly working independently. I was called on my days off asked if I could work, b/c hospital was so short staffed. Nurses write each other up constantly. Benefits are awful.

I have been with the company for a year now and I must say the mission, and values of the company are all about doing the right things for the right reasons. The values are set by the employees themselves and every year a group of employees gather to reaffirm the values and continue to ingrain them into the culture being built. This company truly cares about helping the communities they serve, and the people that care for their patients. If your truly looking to make a difference this is a company you want to work with.

Cons

Like any growing company there are growing pains and changes that are sometimes hard. But every step I have seen has been a step to make the company, facilities, the staff and most importantly the care we deliver to so many that much better.
