Pros

People are genuinely friendly, most care very much about their work. I feel safe and valued much of the time. SUN is fairly fresh, so there is less burnout and the company still has a lot to prove. There are many ways you are told when you are doing good work, by your superiors, staff and the patients. SUN does what it can to celebrate its workers and has a fairly open and progressive mindset. Very minority-friendly.

Cons

Work-life balance is terrible. You will consistently be nudged to do more and more. I am expected to do the job of two people; most of us are. Training and personal growth are often discussed and rarely supplied: there just isn't time. Folks are not typically debriefed after rough codes and upper management can micro-manage at times and is not always understanding about our limitations. I have seen people walked off this job in the middle of their shifts for next to nothing. It is much more secure to be salaried than hourly, I'll say I'm privileged there. Very little room for advancement.
