Pros

The opportunities to experience the different dimensions of research, both qualitative and quantitative, in a real, research-oriented setting are excellent. The desire to do good, quality research is strong and the opportunities to share/collaborate with other researchers is readily available.

Cons

As a State university, the salary opportunity is limited. Additionally, the opportunities to advance from graduate student to faculty position are not readily available as often the desire is to pull new ideas from outside.

nice environment to work in. Very friendly and lively atmosphere to share thoughts and work with people. really nice environment

Cons

climate is very much exhausting and it is always cold most of the time that is the most important con of working in buffalo
