      Great Leadership and Communication, Benefits are EXPENSIVE

      Pros

      I was delighted to attend the quarterly town halls with Ron our chief officer. I appreciate his honesty when it came to financial results and when we are heading into economic headwinds. The Finance Department is well put together and does well with treating the team well and leading towards our objectives.

      Cons

      These are truly some of the most expensive Healthcare benefits I've ever seen. Saatva is far behind in being able to contribute well to health plans. There is a lot of encouragement to go into the cheapest plan, but that plan doesn't even have co-pays for docs. The company asks for almost $300 month from you just for a sinlge employee plan on the cheapest one. Saatva benefits need to be reviewed. The one part of the town hall I dislike the most is when the Human Resource Manager would celebrate benefits but they aren't great. Her team needs to advocate more for the people.

While our carriers continue to raise rates, we work hard to keep the costs as manageable for our employees as possible, and believe that we have created a competitive employee value proposition.

      Pros

      Intelligent staff, cohesive work style, kind people, constant optimization which means a lot of room to grow and make an impact. Strong leadership - not just with our CEO but also the CMO - both of which have an open door policy and are always willing to listen to any suggestions or concerns. This is an environment where you're treated like family.

      Cons

      Sometimes initiatives happen in a silo and it trickles from the top down to other departments, nothing that can't be fixed with a more centralized line of communication.

      Employees were all friendly and work environment was great. They seemed to be really flexible and understanding of schedule changes.

      Cons

      Upper management seems to think they own the company.
