Pros

It's a job and that's about it.

Cons

The pay come on McDonalds pays more and gives raises more often. The constant coaching to sale wipers and force people to make an appointment. If internet is down or their system has issues it counts againt your attendance. Then they take your PTO so is you have to be out that day will count against you as well. The health insurance is over priced and not worth the cost we have to pay. Their is no opportunity for advancement in the company no matter how much the higher up's say their is to the new hires. Calls ar gone over with a fine tooth comb to find what you did or said wrong to keep up in check or stress you out if the coaching doesn't do it.

Decent Job

Pros

- Work-from-home arrangement, offering convenience - Reasonable degree of scheduling flexibility to accommodate personal needs. - Reasonable Hours (I recommend 5 hours max) (only work here as a 2nd job) - decent pay (definitely should be more) - yearly bonuses (now mostly based on individual performance)

Cons

- Have to be a sponge and read information verbatim ( and somehow you're still criticized and get written up on EVERYTHING) - Inadequate management focused solely on financial gain, treating employees as mere numbers. - Poor leadership, insufficient training, and an unsupportive corporate culture. - They disregard your capabilities and treat you like a robot even when you perform well. - Lack of opportunities for professional growth and advancement. - Poor communication and collaboration between departments, - call volume is back to back / with rude customers / no time to breathe (you think your coach or management care....no) take your 15 minute break and you should be good the rest of your 8 hour shift.....ha -position is super strict and monitored, - The list of cons goes on, but would I recommend this job? Sure, as a secondary source of income, it could serve as a means to pursue a more fulfilling and progressive career path separately. However, I would advise working no more than 5 hours maximum, as the thought of enduring 8-10 hour shifts in this role is daunting. For a more definitive answer - no, I cannot wholeheartedly recommend it. The job has a way of leaving one feeling emotionally drained. There are undoubtedly better opportunities that align with your talents and personality. The job's intense pressure and indirectness essentially train you to be desensitized to customer needs, which is fundamentally misguided. The role should foster empathy and understanding, not discourage it.

Pros

Headed in the right direction, but still some definite improvements needed.

Cons

Some of the policies are absolutely wild. If there is an issue with your internet service provider, it is counted against you. Half the time issues with their systems are counted against you too. Not good policy to measure stats on days when the phones aren’t working properly. Was recently deducted points on a call for clearing my throat without muting my mic. Tons of talk about wellness, but the policies don’t match up well, which makes it all talk and no action. Also, the obsession with wipers when many can’t afford their deductibles. Many stuck in schedules due to KPIs, cannot put in for schedule change or to learn more splits
