Pros

Benefits. Pay is decent but nothing to get excited about. If you’re a person who loves participating in corporate politics this is the job for you.

Cons

Communication issues throughout the entire company. If you prioritize work/life balance this is most likely not the company for you. Complaints to management get dismissed and issues are left unresolved. Favoritism is widely seen throughout all levels. The company promotes an amazing culture but you slowly realize that is not the case the more time you spend within a position.

Pros

Insurance. Met some cool people. Got tickets to osu game.

Cons

It was all right at first training could’ve been better. The phones really sucked, you were told that you would only have to take 10 calls or so a day and then it turned into more like 15 or 20 sometimes even more during “peak” aka summer. Management could’ve been better. Currently going to school to work in HR, I was told would have opportunity to shadow someone so I could eventually get in that department, but when I tried to pursue it several times , they never followed up. Insurance agents are a nightmare, especially Allstate. So rude and make calls unpleasant.
