Pros

Easy to increase the amount of money you can make through comp classes

Cons

Can you read? Can you type 10 wpm? Can you operate a computer with mild proficiency? This job is for you! Doesn't matter if you've been fired for literally any reason in the past by a previous employer. Theft? Safelite will hire you! Never worked a day in your life? You're hired! Wouldn't be able to pass a background check at any other employer? Not a problem at Safelite! That is to say so long as you're willing to do the same thing, repeatedly, non-stop with little to no variation every single day. (Not exaggerating, every single call is the same if you only do glass claims). Oh, sorry if you're a bit of a germaphobe, as as they don't take care of the ventilation in the call center I worked at and there's an inch of dust on every surface in the building every. single. day! Did I mention there's no assigned seating? That means all the nastiness that people are forced to bring in (or risk being written up for every day missed) due to having NO sick-time available to 95% of employees (almost everyone starts part-time and are provided with no sick time) you're probably going to get whatever they have because everyone has to share the headsets, too! Oh, little detail, I hope you don't mind that people trained in the exact same insurance(s) can take only 1 call an hour while you are back to back and that person also started 5 months after you and gets paid more than you!

Pros

Money, OT and extra hours, Some coworkers are good.

Cons

Being written up easily, bad management, tardies, turnover is high, customers can be verbally abusive on the phone, all women led management. No way to check for tardies and extremely hard to avoid. Training had a lot of material crammed in a short amount of time - not very healthy. No respect for honest employees unfortunately. Long term employees also voiced frustration with management. Getting written up easily makes you not qualify for bonuses etc. Supervisors can be a hit or a miss. Unemployment benefits are ridiculously contested by employer. HR person on floor has limited authority. I'd stay away from the employer. They don't respect illnesses and transport issues (not very frequent ones). Unfortunately not very people powered as they claim. They just want you to take call after call. Stress can be high as well.

Pros

Overtime was available, raffles for working extra hours, computer system was relatively easy to use, they offer full time benefits, they offer part time schedules and good pay for customer service, opportunities for slight pay increases, easy to get by without much effort.

Cons

Very limited advancement opportunities, no personal or professional development opportunities, limited time to interact with or build camaraderie with co-workers, difficult to request time off, horrible part time benefits, stressful work environment, frivolous rules which don't apply to everyone, supervisors give incorrect/unhelpful information, upper management has a disconnect with the realities of the job when making rules and regulations, very high turnover.
