Pros

They are very flexible with students and you can move up to assistant manager after a 8 month to 1 year workload.

Cons

You have to wear SPECIFIC uniforms during work hours. For instance, if you work with food, you must make sure to shave and wear a cap to cover your hair.

Pros

defined mission and measured job performance leading to expanded opportunity.

Cons

unionized in VA and many of the "protected" union workers should be fired - they drag the store performance overall down in both a place to work and progress

Pros

Do not have to think much. Management wants you to do what they want instead of what is best for the company.

Cons

There is no way to provide feedback on the performance of immediate management. Manager can do or say whatever they want about the subordinates without ways for them to voice their opinions. Personal retaliation from manager to employees occur often.
