      Pros

      There is a union and union jobs can be great, there are some great people to work with and they work around your schedule if you need a certain time off.

      Cons

      I had to get up at three am to get to work on time, and there are a lot of politics. The union reps ask you if you like working there in the store where your boss may be near by and don't know the policies. And my hours were cut if I didn't drop everything immediately when called in and I would get called at 5 am to come in. Also there is no room for growth.

      No work life balance Work 50-60 hours a week Corporate demands aren't reasonable and always cutting Store hours Upper management can be every aggressive,rude, and demeaning Most Store managers are over worked and poor work culture Work culture has gotten worse since Albertsons has taken over Upper management doesn't believe Store crews work hard enough and that they should be pushed more Lack respect for managers who have devoted their career to have for 20+ years in the company

      Cons

      Tough work with little encouragement from management Harsh and impatient management makes job environment difficult to enjoy High expectations for hours put in Long Shifts with lots of physical labor in a fast environment All the downsides with any retail position
