Most employees care about each other.

Cons

If you aren’t in the in-crowd, your experiences and knowledge don’t matter. The same guy in the front will decide based on his own perception, even if evidence is to the contrary or there has not been any testing. I don’t know how we still had customers after his blatant mis-representation about root cause.

Very high pay, and the super friendly environment are about the only pros. I really enjoy talking and working with the procurement team as well as the logistics upper management as well as the production management. They are extremely good people.

Cons

If you're in leadership you are expected/required to work several roles but be paid for one. Their business model is they will pay you well over the national average but with shortstaff your department and expect you and the team you lead to work 10+ hours per day. Saft almost doesn't have employee retention. People are constantly leaving due to poor management decisions and the extreme work hours due to short staffing departments. The other huge con is they will hire outside the organization before they promote. They usually will not look for talent within the company first, but rather as a last resort, so do not expect to be promoted unless you've been there 15+ years.
