Pros

Wonderful providers and nursing staff that are truly concerned with patient care.

Cons

Where to begin...clinics are managed by very young women with no management experience, and if they do have experience they managed a coffee shop, and have no clinical experience. Providers walk on eggshells due to the immaturity of support staff. They hire very young girls who like to discuss inappropriate things in front of other staff and patients such as going home and having sex with their husband, or advertising inappropriate relationships with vendors that come to the clinics. Upper management is a joke. They do not respond to employee concerns, they brush hipaa violations under the rug, because those types of things are not as important as opening more clinics. If you plan to give notice, take a vacation first and use all your pto or else you lose it the minute you give notice. You will be disciplined for things you do outside of work. Yes, let me repeat that....you are disciplined for your own personal opinions or actions that happen OUTSIDE of work hours, work location, etc. Yes, for things you do in the privacy of your home and under the free speech category, they will discipline you. They claim to be a Christian based clinic, but the only Christian thing they do is carry a bible to training and the Christmas gathering and read out of it. They do not re hire after people quit, and a lot of people quit, so patient care suffers. I could go on and on. This is the worst clinic I have ever worked for, and they are treating people who are very sick, but all they care about is profit.

Pros

chance to work with great families

Cons

poor pay, poor benefits, disorganized, management is disorganized, under-qualified, and shows very little appreciation for the employees. Impossible to get anyone in HR or management to reply to an email.

Pros

A great place to start working with individuals face to face and the flexibility to get to personal appointments was great, watching individuals benefit from work that you do with them with a successful outcome was rewarding.

Cons

Supervisors were given restriction to one meeting a month to go over concerns with MHP, the work as a MHP is stressful and often overwhelming, there was many hours of work without compensation-or billable time-and the required meeting every other week with all sites via televised conference impedes on the hours needed to meet expectations of corporate for reimbursement for miles, etc.
