Pros

Work from home, flex schedule, PTO accrual, and you're not micro managed. You choose what hours you want to work Mon-Fri between 8, 9 or 10 hours a day. If you decide to work four 10's you choose what day of the week you want off (tues, wed, thur, fri) with the exception of Monday which is set for weekly meetings.

Cons

SLHS is closed for 6 holidays per year, but you have to use your PTO to be paid. If you don't save PTO to cover those 6 days you won't be paid for the holiday and you'll get a point. You also have to use 3 days of PTO before you can use your sick time accrued.

Pros

Lots of resources: resource nurses, critical response nurses + rapid response teams, code stemi and code neuro nurses, responsive house supervisors. If you need help, you will get it. Good ratios on tele: 1:4 if fully staffed, 1:5 if short Doctors are nice and responsive

Cons

Pay, it is competitive with area but there is no union in Missouri so nurses are still underpaid
