Pros

Employees are kind to each other for the most part. There is teamwork when needed. Don't work weekends, late nights, and major holidays.

Cons

Management and HR don't seem to value or listen to their employees. There is a lack of knowledge or educated management. High turnover and nothing was truly ever done about it. Continuously losing good employees.

Pros

Compensation commiserate with experience. Hours can be flexible in some departments.

Cons

Very antiquated policies and procedures leading to "bare minimum performance". Career development is non-existent and the millennial generation has high turnover because of this reason. Trust in the organization is sorely lacking causing employees to be dissatisfied.

Pros

Clinical staff is some of the best in the region.

Cons

Expected to give the best quality care with limited staff and high acuity patients. Many days we go without a lunch or break. Also, Corporate is constantly decreasing benefits. This has been done gradually over a few years. So, newer staff is not so aware of how good benefits use to be. Pension plan is gone, PTO has been cut. Part time clinical staff no longer get benefits unless they work 24 hours a week. Not the 36 hours a pay period like most other hospitals in the city. The 403b match is also terrible. Raises are terribke. Unless you are the CEO or corporate.
