Pros

Fantastic health benefits, basically anything done in the health system is free or close to it. They match 2% of your 403(b). This is a large health system, but departments feel like working with a smaller company.

Cons

They don't offer the most competitive pay in the area for allied health jobs like phlebotomy, they also tend to hire on as PRN and not offer you benefits until you stick around a while. But they're so short staffed right now its not hard to get as many hours as you want.

Pros

Excellent collaboration with physicians. Strong advance practice provider presence throughout all specialties in the health system. Numerous opportunities for growth.

Cons

Long hours. Difficult work/life balance. Vacation time could be better. Advanced practice providers accrue PTO as opposed to weeks off at a time like their physician counterparts. All would agree they work as hard and this should be reflected in the salary/benefits.
