Pros

Benefits are good for the most part, medical part is a bit expensive. You work with some amazing people for the most part.

Cons

Company lacks communication and openness on a lot of things. Executive team makes decisions that are not always completely thought through which leads to issues/conflicts that could have been easily avoidable. Sakata has done multiple “quiet” lay offs but labels them as “restructuring” or some sort of fancy name to not scare employees instead of being honest and transparent. There can be lots of favoritism.

There are some great team players.

Cons

My experience with Sakata was the worst job-related experience I have ever had. The Zone Manager was largely absent, the tone was consistently condescending, and there was no interdepartmental communication. Overall, it was a terrible experience.
