Pros

Good pay and benefits, including time off and wellness perks. Free snacks in the office for non-remote employees.

Cons

I wouldn't tell even my worst enemy to go to work for Salesforce after the experience I have had. It's a huge company that cares very little for lower-level employees. Don't expect to transfer departments or move to a better job no matter how hard you work. You will be subject to the whims of upper management.. The company has also recently changed its volunteer time off policy to turn it into a weird sort of competition, so there's no longer a guarantee that you will receive a grant to donate to the charity of your choice if you complete your volunteer hours for the year. Everything about this company is horrible and the direction it is headed is wrong in so many ways.

Thank you for the feedback. Our management team works hard to try to keep employees informed and involved with decisions that impact them, but we know sometimes it isn't enough. We are consistent with our Quarterly All Hands Call and our leaders try to do in-person Employee Town Halls when they travel to our locations around the world. Our execs are also active on internal social network and available for you to reach out and talk to us at anytime. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me or any other exec if you feel your voice is not being heard. We understand the change to one of our employee charitable grants programs was difficult for some employees to understand, but felt the change was necessary given our rapid growth. We are pleased to continue to offer all of our employees 7 paid days off to volunteer and generous matching funds, and to reward our top volunteers with additional funds to make an impact at their charity of choice. Giving back has been core to who we are since Day 1. We know our foundation benefits are one of the reasons that people choose to work with us so we will continue to make giving back a priority.
