Pros

Good salary, good benefits, these 2 are the only good things for me.

Cons

No stocks. I was working on a startup company that later was acquired by Salesforce. The day of the acquisition we started suffering all the stupid, non sense bureaucratic process that they have. From the engineer perspective they have custom things for everything from bug tracking systems to monitor and deployment and all of them are terrible. From the "employee" point of view, no matter how hard you can work, how good you can code and the systems you made. They only care about documents, ppts, show off and to be an apple polisher of the people above you since your promotion is decided by people who does know you (yes, crazy right). If you are not like that there is no way to get a promotion. The Product managers (at least in the division I was working) don't know the products, don't participate in meetings, don't create stories, etc. You need to do all their work and they take the credits for that. All the "Ohana" and open, friendly, care culture is an absolute lie. I am part of a minority race and I made complaints to a former director who had made life miserable for me and many others and they never did anything.

Pros

The best people you will ever work with - I've yet to come across anyone in my group that hasn't been kind to me.

Cons

- Salesforce hired people (including myself) in 2021 and said this was a fully remote role, and they promoted success from anywhere. There was absolutely NO mention of them changing to a hybrid workforce until this year. Most of us chose Salesforce over other companies for that specific reason, and now they are conveniently acting like they never said that. 2 - Marc Benioff keeps bragging about how great the company has done, but has specifically called out Account Executives for not being productive during the work from home environment the past year....and beause they were "not productive," apparently the whole company will be more productive from office....EVEN THOUGH MOST OF US IN RECRUITING DON'T WORK WITH ANYONE ON OUR TEAM. WE'RE ALL OVER THE US, not to mention....they fired SO MANY GOOD RECRUITERS. because THEY overhired - took away our yearly bonus, even though we met the goals. it's not 60% vs 110% last year. - Underpaid. You go to full-time, and they take away your base pay. - just took away linkedin recruiter..........are you trying to make us miss our goals so you can fire more people acting like they "aren't productive," while giving everyone different recuriting access? This makes no sense! I'm not making enough money to do a three hour daily commute and pay for parking.
