      It's all lies

      Pros

      Decent benefits. You can pretend you are making the world a better place if you don't think about it too much.

      Cons

      You will be thrown out like trash the moment you aren't deemed a "extremely high performance" member. Even if you help launch and build very profitable products from the ground up for YEARS, they will still toss you out. Don't believe anything they say about "giving back to the community". This is just a marketing tool they use to guilt customers into buying their products. People don't matter to them. Profits are the only thing that matters at Salesforce.

      Pros

      Endless number of very hard problems to solve. Massive scale.

      Cons

      A very toxic cohort seems to have climbed their way into leadership. Every project is just an exercise in ludicrously ambitious but suspiciously vague goals which slowly get pared down to nothing while leadership seeks out individuals to politically isolate and blame. If you're good at meetings and politics this place is for you!

      Deceptive hiring practice

      Salesforce has a great CRM brand and is well-respected.

      Cons

      The interview process was oenerous and lengthy. When I received the offer, I asked about a non-recoverable draw. I was told that I would receive a 3 month draw. I recently learned that it's paid out at 1/3 of the expected total compensation amount. This is a penny-wise, pound-foolish approach to dealing with employees. No other employer has ever pulled this stunt on me before. Caveat emptor.
