Pros

Aggressive base salary and OTE, and nice benefits

Cons

The cuts ran too deep- all Strategic AEs now cover 3-4 accounts and it's impossible to be strategic with our customers. There is so much admin work, so much micro-management, and so much activity inspection that it's nearly impossible to do your actual job of selling. The performance culture creates an environment of hunting and "hard closing" rather than strategic consulting and driving value. Our customers are angry that they are being treated like transactions, and have a constantly revolving door or reps because the turnover is so high. I'd avoid working here in Sales if at all possible.

Thank you for sharing your transparent feedback regarding our Sales org. Given customer success is one of our core values, we're particularly disappointed to hear you feel we're falling behind here. We regularly ladder up review trends to leadership, so we'll ensure yours is seen by the right stakeholders in the org. In the meantime, if you're comfortable doing so, we encourage you have a conversation with your manager or ESBP about the expectations to better address what you have written here. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and to help us improve.

Pros

You will work with very smart people. The base pay is really good as are the benefits. It also looks great on your resume.

Cons

Like most sales jobs it comes down to Timing Territory and Talent. I started shortly after they laid off 10% of the staff and wasn’t sure if I would have a job for a few weeks. I had left a good job I was at for almost a decade to come here and grow my career. The sales training was non existent but to be fair I think they started doing in person training again recently which should help. I think this would be a terrific place to have started ten years ago but for new hires it is very chaotic. There are people who make a ton of money but there are just as many if not more people who are gone in under a year. It will look good on your resume but I would suggest thinking of this as a stepping stone as opposed to a career. It didn’t work out for me, that doesn’t mean it won’t for others but my experience was very negative.

Thank you for your review, we are disappointed to hear that you had a negative onboarding experience. Starting this April, our refreshed Sales Onboarding program provides new employees with 3 weeks of in-person, hands-on support and enablement starting in Week 1. We provide each new hire with a mentor and resources to ensure they are set up for success and are constantly making improvements to the program based on participant feedback. We hope you were able to provide your feedback during your time with us. Thank you again for sharing your experience.

What you've listed in your Cons section is disappointing — nobody should have to work in a toxic environment. Iit would be helpful for us to hear more about your experiences to better address what you have listed here. If you feel comfortable doing so, we ask that you please contact Employee Relations through the "Connect With Employee Relations" Concierge article so that we can take action.
