      Highly political with a veneer of equality

      Pros

      High brand recognition of the company within the tech world, world class events, perks, everyone is trying to out-woke each other

      Cons

      Intentionally obfuscated performance review process (managers are trained to not tell employees if they are on a coaching plan), lack of alignment from leadership to mid and lower levels of employees (lack of the practice of skip levels to ensure alignment), path to promotion is highly political and focuses more on personal relations rather than company impact, pay grades are below industry norm for given levels

      Their benefits are pretty good

      Cons

      Salesforce talks a lot about how they support their employees, but that was not my experience. They over work their teams and make promises that they don't keep.
