• High turnover with employees
• Some locations are managed much better than others - it all depends on the people at your location
• Many customers want salon quality results in one step but you do not need to have a license to work here. Often, employees are afraid to admit what they don't know and give unsound advice
• They don't always offer full time hours to anyone that isn't management because they don't want to pay for benefits. They will offer 40 hours if you are willing to work at multiple Sally's locations - but without providing any benefits that a 40+ hour job is supposed to provide - in order to cheat the system.
• Low pay for hard work
• They use an ipad to communicate everything and it is NOT fluid or clear. Too much time is spent checking multiple apps and searching for missing material. District Leaders want to be e-mailed with sales numbers for the store at 12pm, 3pm, and 6pm everyday.
• You cannot veer from the store planograms. Everything must follow company code regardless of how ineffective or displeasing to the eye. No room for artful or chic displays. Everything is done on the cheap.
