Pros

Cool office and "exciting trajectory," which probably isn't realistic to say anymore.

Cons

Management doesn't actually care about your overall career growth. They will stick you in the same position you were hired for and expect you to stay there (even while consistently blowing quotas out of the water). Compensation is low compares to the rest of the market, it's very political, and the culture is NOT the place it used to be years ago when it was actually exciting.

Hi there. Thank you so much for your honest feedback. I am sorry to hear that you feel as though your career growth has not been prioritized. One of our values is to be empowered; we believe in letting our employees take the lead in driving their own growth and development. With that said, we do recognize what a big role our managers play in performance, which is why we have spent the last year focused on manager training and support. I encourage you to reach out to your PX business partner or department leader to have a transparent conversation about your development. You can also feel free to reach out to me directly, I would love to hear more about your experience and how we can continue to support your growth at Salsify. Thanks, Colleen Fuller, CPO

Operations and GTM Strategy needs work

Pros

Great Office Location, Free Snacks and Drinks, Great Office Environment

Cons

Business and Sales Operations need a lot of improvement. Lack of a clear Sales Operations Leader results in confusion around quota, territory setting and comp plans. Mid level management is quick to blame those underneath them to save their own jobs. Many of the Management team come from the same previous companies, resulting in a pre-existing office culture that is hard to change. The company is ok with over investing in some functions while leaving others completely bare bones.

Hello - thank you for taking the time to give us this feedback. We do have a strong referral program at Salsify because we trust that our current employees will bring in the best people in their network to come work alongside us. That being said, we fully understand the value that people with different experiences and backgrounds bring to the table. Our people experience team actively recruits prospective employees from a host of different sources, so that we find the most talented people possible. Along with diverse perspectives, we also value feedback. I am sorry to hear that you feel as though you don't have the opportunity to give feedback or that your feedback isn't being heard. In fact, I'd like to hear more on this front and keep the conversation going. If you’re up for it, please reach out to me directly. Thank you again for the review! - Colleen Fuller
