      Good People - Tough Place to Work

      Pros

      The individual people at Salsify was one of the strongest aspects of the experience—talented, supportive, and genuinely enjoyable to work with. The Company is growing.

      Cons

      Burnout is widespread, and the workload often feels unsustainable, with little meaningful effort made to address employee well-being. Deadlines are unreasonable and people do not have support to accomplish their work. Career progression is frustratingly slow and advancement can take years regardless of performance. Compensation remains below market standards, and concerns about pay competitiveness are routinely downplayed or dismissed throughout the organization.

      Great work life balance, not much growth and ultimately had mass layoffs

      Not much vision here, not much growth to be had and has a tough time that led to many layoffs

      A great company, getting in its own way

      Pros

      A product the market needs, which competitively is heads and shoulders above the best. Opportunity to speak with senior people at big brands.

      Cons

      Product leadership push the products they want to sell, rather than solving for what the customer needs. Leadership makes big claims around diversity and inclusion, despite there being a known issue with this behind closed doors.

We are happy to hear that you believe in the strong footing our product has in the current space, and we are also confident that changes we are making to focus on product lines will serve our customers and their needs. These were created in collaboration with many different functions to ensure customer centric alignment across the business and we are only just starting to roll them out. We will continue to welcome feedback across the organization to ensure we are set up for success. Our ED&I work is certainly a work in progress, as acknowledged in our Inclusion Report.
