Good friendly environment lots of nice people. Subsidized bus/train passes. Reduced cost on childcare and a membership if you were an employee. There are always more hours doing different things, they have programs all year that they need extra help for. You get a raise after working for them for a full year

Cons

Not the most competitive pay. You have to work hard and do most things yourself since there aren't a lot of people working there. If you don't get along with the other employees you wouldn't enjoy working there since it is a small space because you run into other employees often.

the pay was decent, it however is not very competitive comparably. SLCO is very dependable

Cons

the workforce is pretty bare minimum so a lot of employees are doing the job of two people. There hasnt been pay increases in a number of years

Pros

It was pretty easy to get hired, not a terrible interview process. Free powerade for lifeguards, free admission to pool, etc.

Cons

If you work an at outdoor facility, it is hot and the patrons can be jerks sometimes. People are sometimes promoted based on favorites, not experience/performance, etc. Petty cliques among some coworkers were also annoying.
