Pros
People here know a lot about coffee and are more than happy to teach and share their knowledge - there’s a culture of excitement and initiative. I’ve been able to learn things outside of my comfort zone with support from management and they’re really happy to help expand your skill set if you’re willing to put in the work and seize the opportunity. There’s room to advance and management listens to concerns and takes them to heart - the support goes beyond just work and there’s recognition of each person as an individual. Everyone is flexible and truly cares about creating a nurturing environment; it’s definitely a family. In terms of coworkers, I’ve never worked with a more close knit group and everyone looks out for one another and takes the teamwork mentality to heart. If you work hard and have a positive attitude, it’s difficult to find a better place to work.
Cons
The holiday season can get really busy and hours run late, but management provides catered meals and checks in on everyone’s well being.
