Pros

Most people will say the pay , but in my case is barely above minimum wage. Besides , nothing good to say about them.

Cons

I here to comment on couple of incidents that have happened to me during the last couple of weeks in my store. This past Saturday when i came and started my shift , the COS forced me to stay past my shift if I didn't get a Plus upgrade. During the day , the management and COS were harassing me and disrespecting me in front of the members when working on a register. In all my jobs in retail , I have never been so disrespected and I believe it was illegal to force me to stay past schedule shift because of selfish reasons. I was let go almost two hours past my shift , nearing the 6 hour warning to be forced to get a lunch. I thought that perhaps things were going to be better the next day , but unfortunately despite doing at least 3 upgrades , renewals and credit card application , I was still insulted and harassed by this COS and the management team. There were a lot of times , in which I got 4 pluses , 7 renewals and 3 credit card applications in one day and still was not acknowledged and instead receive insults in front of members when ringing up their items. I cannot respect a company that treat their employees like crap and despite doing everything they are told and still getting pluses , credits and renewals the employee is disrespected and treated like trash. I tried to call Wal Mart ethics office to report this illegal behavior , but so far I have not received any response. Right now I am dreading to even go to work there because ,the management has been very unsupported and they all care about getting pluses , credits and renewals for their big bonus. Customer service here is nonexistent and I am currently looking for an employer that respects and lets the employee do what must be done to bring excellent customer service. Here is the specific list of cons. Low pay Dealing with difficult supervisors , managers and members. Forced to stay past scheduled shift and being held hostage and harassed to get a ridiculously number of 10 pluses , 10 credits and 10 renewals. The ridiculous goal right now is to get 100 plus each day at the store. To add to injury , if we get a certain number of pluses , we get ridiculous , unethical and pathetic gifts like small pieces of candy, free food from cafeteria , hitting pie to COS face , getting a stupid Sundae on Sunday in which you can get for less than two bucks and other insulting stuff. No COS or management support at the Front End when dealing with members and long lines. Do cleanup jobs and other tasks that floor associates supposed to do. Always being threatened to being written up for ridiculous reasons such as missing items , "not pushing" enough upgrades and memberships. Being disrespected and not enough help when dealing with long lines. Not having the necessary communication tools like radios and telephones to contact floor departments to help members to look for specific items. No benefits for part timers for about one or two years. No sick hours A lot lifting and not necessary tools to help associates when lifting heavy items. Parking lot always a mess because of not enough help for lot attendants.
