Pros

you receive a consistent paycheck. Fake it till you make it works on the small minds here.

Cons

One of many - Company dropped all DEI initiatives before the hateful administration took office. company claims to follow the same principals as before under the name "belonging" yet treats minorities as "other" and has been remarkably quiet since rolling back all dei initiatives.

Pros

All pros are HEAVILY dependent on location and management! Very flexible schedule and decent base pay if you’re young or needing extra money. Made about 1200 every 2 weeks and started at $17/hr. If you have nice coworkers the job can be pretty fun and it’s extremely easy. Log in daily, check orders, and complete as needed. Significantly less customer interaction than cashiering and can stay to yourself for most of your shift if you’re wanting to. I regularly received tips when I was working, and it’s almost impossible to not get any during holidays. Be careful with tips as some managers do not like/allow them. No uniform just a vest and name badge.

Cons

(Depending on location) demand is extremely high with not enough staff. Corporate constantly sets higher standards for productivity on a regular basis (every 2-3) months making it extremely difficult to keep up with demand. My store particularly made most of their revenue through curbside pickup so it was very hard on us. The job is physically taxing and management will likely make you disposable. Benefits can be pretty decent depending on the person & their needs, though I don’t know how good they are if you’re needing to support multiple people/a family. Attendance is tracked through a points system. Depending on the location, management create a very high turnover rate, regularly hiring and firing people within the same week/two weeks so be careful. Hours given and willingness to hire (even when desperately needed) are cut significantly during budgeting periods (which are seemingly often) making income a bit inconsistent at times.

Pros

Fast paced. Not alot of interaction with shoppers.

Cons

Scheduling was a big issue, got hired as part time but would be scheduled as full time with no benefits for 6 months. Workload of 3 people due to having no one on closing shift, then managment had the audacity to make us cut down on overtime.
