it's not R&D, only mobile center, now officially also. Opinion holds true for SEL Noida.

Pros

1. Good salary in NCR. 2. Frequent overseas trips. 3. Free food and cab.

Cons

1. Only bug fixing for derived models, no real work. 2. Performance is counted on number of hours you spent in office, staying late and coming on weekends is a plus even if you don't have any pending issue at 10 PM friday EVE. 3. Admin and HR staff behaves as Govt Employee and no care for Engineers. 4. Security is sky high Guards behaving as CBI officer for every entry/exit. though same is not true in Korean offices. 5. Dual standards within Samsung, Korean gets paid for overtime shifts, Indians are forced to un-paid overtime. Advice to new joinee: Plz evalute your expectations and then only join. In Android, your technical expertise would vanish completely in 2 years.
