Great stability - like working at a museum.

Pros

Stability Good benefits Great to have on your resume if you're an aspiring engineer who's just starting out. Lots of incredible people (just not at the top) Perfect for people who are content, looking for a paycheck, and don't care about things like culture, personal growth, innovation, or transparency.

Cons

A lot of lipstick on this pig. It promotes its core values but doesn't operate by them. It claims to be innovative but if anything, it's on the cutting edge of obsolescence. Leadership is arrogant and cocky but has zero perspective on the outside world. Most have never worked anywhere else, don't know any better (but think they know everything), and pander to the most senior person in the room. Power is repressively concentrated at the top and that repressive conduct is mimicked down the ladder. The place is a museum and antiquated all around: company culture, operations, organizationally, IT systems, facilities, etc.. Blackbox, unwritten, and arbitrary promotion criteria based in part on whether people in power like you.

Pros

Decent pay, Decent benefits, Values perfection

Cons

Chattanooga office has toxic management who takes "micromanagement" to another degree. Expect no leniency with time off due to personal circumstances or with making just one simple mistake. Management simply cares about the client's money and not about the welfare of their employees (which should be one of, if not the most important facet of the company. There is also no professional growth; you are simply expected to be there and perform whatever random assignment that management wants. Stability is guaranteed - but why would any sane job-seeker want this kind of stability that treats their employees like dirt. Management (if you can even call it that) is self-serving and treats you like a tool to be used for their sole benefit. If management makes a mistake - it's on their employees. If the client makes a mistake - it's on their employees. In no way is this work environment professional, courteous, and successful in achieving job satisfaction and reputation. They expect the world and then some - even if you succeed at satisfying their increasingly ridiculous demands, you will still be chastised and/or radio silence.

Pros

Fair salary and benefit. Laid back company. Great location.

Cons

1) You will feel the favoritism from the first day that step into this company. 2) If you're immigrant, stay away. I'm serious, I worked for several other same size company and they are crazy here. 3) Only Mechanical and Electrical engineer seem to be happy here. The company originated from these two fields and still is the same. 4) You only progress if your boss likes your personality and main important item, you're from the same region.
