Good Old Boys Club With Management Issues

Pros

There are some very great co-workers and jeans on Fridays

Upper management is awful. The senior leadership team is a good old boys club. They lose excellent employees because of the management. The SLT feels the need to walk around and make sure everyone is working because they don’t trust their employees to do their jobs, so they are glorified babysitters. There are a ton of remote employees that are not held accountable and do not get baby sat as the people in the office do. I knew unhappy people in every department with plans to leave. It all starts from the top. More and more turnover is coming. It was the best decision to leave.

Senior Leadership Sucks

Fantastic, hard working employees to work with.

Cons

Where do I start? First, the CEO (JP) could care less about its employees. Work/Life balance sucks! The CEO expects more and more from its outside sales team, while slashing their pay so much that some are facing foreclose on their homes or even filing bankruptcy. He now expects us to operate with 18% quotas in an industry that typically sees about 6% growth......but in the end, we just have to “believe” and it will all be okay! Well you know what JP? I “believe” I’m going to lose everything I have worked so hard for!

Pros

Food Truck Fridays Jeans on Friday Everyone gets 3 weeks of PTO when they begin

Cons

This used to be a great company many years ago. The leadership is awful and only care about making money. The warehouses are a mess, the purchasing team is clueless, the HR team is run by someone that is a "yes" person and will not stand up for the people of the company and on top of that our CFO would prefer us to keep ourselves well so that the company does not have to pay for benefits (made that clear this week in our town hall meeting) NICE. I can say that many of us want out and are looking.
