Poor upper management/Hostile work environment at times

Pros

It will pay your bills for the location it is in but that's about it. They do offer insurance and a retirement plan.

Cons

This company pays low for the work that is required. Most of the higher management is very poor. Middle eastern management style. The owner is known for literally throwing fits and screaming at employees.You're expected to work whenever needed after hours on a low salary. Management threatens to fire you, if your work isn't up to par. Never any gratitude toward good workers. Very High turnover. They are constantly hiring and firing people who have been there less than 2-3 months. It is a dictator style run organization.

Pros

Free coffee, cool old buildings that say class and quality -- which the company is not. Some nice good folks who all walk around in fear that they will be fired at the drop of a hat for looking at the owner wrong.

Cons

The "corporate culture" and "values" they espouse is bull and smokescreen. Owner is always micro managing and changing the plans and rules on the fly. Wanted 3 and half years worth of problems fixed in two months. Was told I would have more than a year to fix things. Claimed that they couldn't afford me two months after hiring me. What kind of planning is that. The employment contract tells you everything you need to know. It is all about what they want not the employee. Owner changed plans in mid-stream at least three different times and put different people in charge of the same project each time with different expectations and guidelines. Owner has the inmates running the asylum and is NUTS

Pros

It was a job that help to pay the bills if even for a very short and painful time. Nothing more to offer.

Cons

Would have to be rated as one of the worse places to work. Misleading police officers to enroll in programs made me question my integrity every day I was there. Management prides itself of lying to anyone and everyone every day of the week.
