Pros

Meeting unique people, get a check, learn about thrifting, learn how they overprice, learn that they believe customers are idiots

Cons

Dirty place, high turnover, ridiculous training, idiotic upper management (DM, RM, etc)

Wow. It sounds like you had a miserable experience at Savers. Aside from meeting people and collecting a check, you really had nothing positive to say. Well, at least you learned about thrifting and perhaps you will join us as we strive to creat a better world through re-use.

Thanks for the feedback. While I can't speak to the smelly or rude customers, I have seen some Tags Switched in my thifty visits. It is unfortunate that it occurs, but we can't manage and monitor everything. Instead we look to make the a better world through re-use.

Pros

The employee discount it great, it pays pretty well for a retail company with opportunities to get a raise every year based on your performance. Part-time employees also get vacation time and an opportunity to recieve quarterly bonuses as well as a halloween and christmas bonus, which is quite generous. Management is willing to work with your availability if need be. Savers suppports non-profits for a good cause.

Cons

-Full time is not available for operations team members. -Overpricing donated goods. -Bonus is hard to make because they keep raising the sales goal. -Scheduling is inconsistent, as with most retail jobs. -It is very dusty, if you have allergies I would advise you to take allergy pills or not work here.
