      Volunteer time is a unique benefit

      Cons

      Coders with 30 years of experience make close to coders with less than 5. Pay is not competitive. You can go almost anywhere else and make almost $10 more an hour with 25-30 years of experience.

      Pros

      work from home paid time off to volunteer in addition to PTO starting to get back to prior excellent reputation

      Cons

      they don't recommend employees for promotions Had my hourly pay cut twice Huge pay cut after ICD10 rolled out. I took a $5 pay cut which was $10,000 a year During Covid I was on furlough and they cut pay again temporarily some clients are very high maintenance very few raises since pay cut 5 years ago
