      Pros

      This is a stable company that generally does a good job living up to its values of safety, integrity, respect and excellence.

      Cons

      Very tight with money. Yearly increases are not in line with the published program. Ex) You and your entire staff can qualify for 8% increases but the budget is never more than 3% . . . so no matter how well you are rated you are never getting a significant salary increase.

      Pros

      The environment and people are great, good team atmosphere, mentorship is a big part of training, and the logistics side of the corporation is growing rapidly. There is opportunity to make money, but you must put in the grueling effort of 150-200 cold calls a day.

      Cons

      Lack of a clear vision. Management has differing views of what direction to go. Well some managers stress the importance of servicing customers, others clearly just care about the bottom dollar, and integrity can be called into question. Have witnessed managers lie to customers in order to make a few extra dollars. Most sellers burn out within 12 months.

      Pros

      They are very safety oriented and that is reinforced by recurrent training. I did like the fact that they had therapists at many of the operating centers. They were very helpful when my back gave me trouble. it's nice to have a company car when you need to do some personal running.

      Cons

      Feast or famine. My last days as a company driver were more famine as i was lucky to get 1800 mi/wk. Once every 6-8 weeks I might see a 2600-2800 mile week.
