Pros

Generally people are pretty good to work with

Cons

Beware of the HR/Management affiliation. Nothing that is shared with HR fits the "confidential" mold... same of information shared with mgmt... goes straight into that "file" of yours in HR, which they may or may not use against you at some point in the future. God forbid you ask to see the contents of your file... And that so-called "family culture"... yeah... sure...

Bad managers

Pros

Most of the people really care about the books, and because of that there's a real camaraderie. The (downtown) office is beautiful and in a good location. Annual raises and good benefits.

Cons

Borderline abusive management, passive aggressive attitudes, low-to-mid salaries despite huge profits.
