Pros
You would be working for big government labs (NASA, NOAA, etc.) with really smart people. I'm giving two stars only for that purpose.
Cons
It is hard to summarize but over the past two years things quickly deteriorated. No cost of living increases were given and benefits are getting worse each year. To repeat and agree with another comment "Lots of people were quitting and current employees were expected to take over their workload for the same pay. Overworked and underpaid." The company ruined its reputation with nepotism. Every time we hear from CEO (married to the president, go figure) it is unnecessary, mundane corpo-speak. Sure, the political environment is not helping but the management has done nothing to alleviate stress or describe their contingency plans. They don't refrain from asking us to "be positive".
