I truly appreciate your feedback. We have developed many mechanisms to ensure we are listening and responding to staff feedback – this gives us an opportunity to improve. Just like other health care employers we are in the midst of change, but we remain committed to the children and families we serve. We all know that change within an organization can be frustrating and we will continue to address your concerns about leadership and getting input from staff members.

Such a bad decision

Pros

The mission is overall rewarding.

Cons

Really outdated practices. If you have worked elsewhere and then work at TSRH, it is incredibly frustrating. Evidence-based practice (clinical and administrative) is ignored. The entire organization seems to reward inefficient practices which is incredibly frustrating. It is 100% hierarchical and very top heavy. Everything is top down with little to no input outside the executive team.

I truly appreciate your feedback and apologize for the delay in responding to your experience. While we strive to always work together with the common goal of helping give children back their childhood, I know that we are not perfect. All staff at Scottish Rite Hospital are continually striving for excellence and more efficient operations. We all know that change within an organziation can be frustrating and we will continue to address your concerns about leadership and getting input from employees. Bob Walker, President/CEO
