Coworkers were great and tried to care about doing the right thing. Benefits were good when it comes to seeing movies before release and little fun things here and there.

Cons

Leadership at all levels needs to be replaced. They are bleeding money and don’t know how to control it. There is no talent left and they don’t know what to do about it. There is zero job security in any non management positions. It’s a big good old boys club.

None really. I know we were told to go onto this site and give a good review, partially because the reviews here were so bad. truth is, it is not a great place to work.

Cons

There is a lot of favoritism, back biting and unprofessional behavior amongst Senior Management. There have been a lot of changes in hierarchy but none which have managed to improve overall working conditions. Work life balance is non-existent.

My experience at Scripps was very frustrating from management to day to day interactions with co-workers.

The salary was higher than average for the area, probably due to not being union. The benefits package was better than average as well.

Cons

The doctors and nurses do not work together, and management does not support nursing staff. I found most staff just came in, did their job and left. There was no pride in doing a job well. I also felt that they were well behind the curve in terms of incorperating new technology or research into their care.
