- they invest a lot in you at the beginning

Cons

- very hard to have your hours changed - managers can be overbearing - hard to advance professionnally

It Was A Good Run

Pros

You get treated like family, which is a good thing but can also be a negative. The ability to promote is up to you, everything is laid out for you, all you need to do is put forth the effort.

Cons

Once you get into a management type position, in order to promote higher, someone has to retire or die. There are not many options to move laterally within management. There are not many cons at all for working at SP.
