Pros

I have been working at ScriptPro for less than a year. This is one of my first jobs post college, and I am very pleased to work for a company like ScriptPro. From a new hire perspective, ScriptPro takes the time and money and truly invests in their employees. The first three weeks of working here was spent in training. Anyone and everyone is always willing to help and answer questions. ScriptPro is a family run business. The CEO, Mike Coughlin, is a genuine, passionate, innovative, caring and ethical man. He treats his employees like family, taking the utmost care for them. He is also surrounded by a team of executives that operate in the same manner as him. ScriptPro not only listens to their employees' concerns, but they also ACT on them. Just this year, they improved our health insurance, 401k, added a holiday, upgrading employee phones to newest version of the iPhone, and much more. I am very grateful to work for a company like ScriptPro who takes care of their employees and I am very optimistic about my future with this company.

Cons

No employer is perfect. There are aspects to every job that are irritating. However, at ScriptPro, there are no "dealbreakers" that would make me leave this company. The pay is average, but at the end of the day, you are working for a company with an outstanding reputation in the industry and product that is revolutionary.

Pros

The fitness center and free classes were awesome.

Cons

Terrible benefits: 401K matching very low, insurance premiums very high, PTO average, dental coverage less than average. No bonuses are ever given. EVER. A meager raise (maybe) annually. Strange relationships fraught with tension within the family (husband, wife, two daughters and a son in law - the people running this place). This trickles down into the overall atmosphere of the company. Account management's job is to clean up the mess of the over promised, under delivered mess that leaves customers angry, disappointed, and frustrated. Management blames Account Management for unhappy customers rather than admitting there is an issue with the overpriced antiquated system they sell.

Pros

My team is the reason I come to work. There are a lot of good people here, and I've been able to learn a lot from many of them. There's also a limited amount of flex-time available, particularly for software types; it's nice to be able to work from home once in a while.

Cons

There ARE people at this company who care about the product and about quality. Unfortunately, they aren't the ones who make policy and budget decisions. Because of the shortsighted penny-pinching attitude of some of the family, we are forced to support hardware configurations which are nearly as old as I am. The family has a lock on all the upper management jobs, and to be fair there are a couple of them who are not completely inept. They do all suffer from the delusion that the people who work for them can do anything with nothing and need no more reward than a couple of parties per year. Benefits are mediocre, the holiday and leave schedule is worse, and pay increases don't even keep up with the cost of living. Enjoy your first-year salary; it only goes down from there.
