Pros

- Flexible work culture - Small company so easy access to leadership - Pay you well - If you have what they need

Cons

- Less projects, very few growth opportunities - No movement between projects translates into poor exposure - Opaque performance review. Appraisals don't equate with your performance. Ordinary or a star, you get the same remuneration. - Less on-site/international opportunities - Very few good people - Politics is steeped into upper management. People close to the management get the top job. Others waste their intellect. - Don't reimburse for trainings - No in-house trainings for industry recognised training opportunities - Ad-hocism in terms of defining HR policies, which are actually dictated from the top. Good only if you are very experienced or fine for those fresh out of college. Good only for max 2 years. After two years, do whatever you can but switch.

Pros

SDG Corp does have some positives : their leave policies are quite flexible, and festival celebrations are well organized, which helps create a sense of unity among colleagues at the team level. The peer to peer bonding is generally good, and employees support each other.

Cons

Working at SDG Corp has been a disappointing experience. There is very little to no scope for growth, and the work environment is heavily influenced by senior level politics. Instead of fostering collaboration and professional development, many seniors engage in gaslighting and favoritism, which creates a toxic culture. On top of that, the compensation is not competitive and does not match the amount of effort expected from employees. Rather than supporting and guiding teams, some of the senior management seems more focused on personal agendas, which is harming the company’s long term stability and reputation. Overall, SDG Corp has potential, but unless there are major changes in leadership style and employee support, it will continue to lose talent and struggle to grow.
