Seagate Technology Staff Program/Project Manager reviews

I was a well performef till 10th September but suddenly on 10th September my manager called and said I can't stay anymore because company is not performing well and my salary is above average. I was shocked. When I came I came to know 4 member out of 7 got pink slip. The remaining 3 members are manager's close friend. So, this is a hiring and firing company. They don't care about us. If company makes profit they hire and if company not performing they simply fire. Manager and team lead put pressure to come early and sit late. They call us on Saturday. In meeting managers told us if you won't work hard I will find your replacement in market. It's an open blackmail. Very depressing work environment. They force us to address Canada team members as 'SIR' I almost got a new job in good company. Offer letter is pending. I Thanks them because they fired me. Atleast I am out of the mess now.

Too much work, manager does micromanagement , they are firing too often, India team don't have any value Canada team has full control, late office hours one need to work late to overlap with Canadian team, India office is a test setup, Managers are very rude and unprofessional Especially with junior level employees.
