Pros

Seamgen is one of the premiere app development companies in San Diego. Marc and his team provide exceptional service to their clients... Not to mention you can take your dog to work.

Cons

None. It's a fantastic place to work.

Not what I expected

Pros

Good central location down town. The common kitchen area is kept stocked with snacks and drinks. New Directors (creative & mobile) could improve employee morale and drive new business.

Cons

Lacking leadership from management. Company is very top heavy, and most Directors/VP's don't come out of their offices during the work day. Some directors (not all) accept no responsibility for any faults and will quickly pass blame onto team members. Employee turnover is very high here because of lack of leadership. Over all company moral here is low because of a major lack of leadership and direction.

Pros

The company works extremely well together. No one leaves you out in the dark if you are unsure of what to do or in what direct you need to take a project. The sales team is constantly on the move to bring in more clients and work. Design and Dev works great side by side in an Agile environment. There is also ALWAYS beer in the fridge, and snacks in the cabinets. Of course everyone respects the flow of the week and rarely touches it until Thursday.

Cons

Some people may see being downtown as a con, I don't think it is. Only bad part is sometime on Thursday or Fridays the bar underneath (The Commons and AD) Will start playing music at about 3:30/4 which really carries the bass upstairs.
