Pros

Fully remote company. The opportunity to make a lot of money, but not what they tell you in the interview process.

Cons

It’s always touted that it’s all about the people! The culture! But realistically, we’re all just numbers and our profitability to the company determines how you’re treated. You are made to feel like a failure and a POS if you aren’t working 16+ hour days 7 days a week. The CEO expects everyone to work as hard as him. They straight up lie on job postings touting quarterly team trips etc, but the only ones that have actually gone on any trip are those that are personal friends with Brandon. Also the “equity for all” is a joke. The amount of shares and the stipulations surrounding them, all the ridiculous ways they can be taken from you, or withheld make it all really laughable. The reason you don’t see many bad reviews is because of the brainwashing. It’s legit a cult. You are told to choose between your family and your job, if you pick your family you’re a loser, anyone that leaves is a loser. You’re feedback will never be heard because the boys club leaders have decided they know everything and no one else could possibly have any good ideas. Remember the Fyre Fest guy who only wanted people to say yes to him and stroke his ego all day long? That’s Brandon. We’re instructed in our pitch to lie about the origin story as well as some things surrounding the product/platform. They don’t come right out and say lie, but they hand you a script tell you to memorize it, pitch exactly as the script says. With very limited research you can figure out the inconsistencies. If you are sick, like legitimately sick or in the hospital you are made to feel worthless and a failure. If you have family obligations, your kids are sick or no daycare etc., you are told that you’ve got to do whatever it takes and need to be working all day everyday. Benefits are trash, you get 14 days of PTO that is also your sick time. You’re told you can’t use it fairly often “bc its mission critical we hit our numbers” which are completely outlandish. They only pay part of the employees benefits, none of dependents, and the coverage sucks. No one on the leadership team has ever grown or scaled a business and it shows. Instead of working to fix issues they just throw more bodies at the problem. They took away the requirement for the SDRs to do the absolute basic of qualification of a call so your calendar will be filled with absolute garbage. People that would never in a million years have a use case. If you don’t close them you’re told you aren’t a true salesman. Your calendar will be filled with 7 meetings that are “open” spots for the SDR to book in a day. As mentioned previously if the person has a pulse and shows up for the meeting they get paid, and we can penalized. You’re also expected to send 50+ texts and emails, along with 100 phone calls a day to existing pipeline or closed won accounts, and if you complain about meeting quality you’re told to self prospect. Promotions happen to people who put up high numbers, not because the person is or can be a good leader. Once promoted you’re not given any tools to be successful as a leader and you’ll have to carry full quota while managing a team. Lastly, the toxic masculinity drips from the pours of leadership, and the majority of the employees. It’s very much a boiler room, frat boy, environment. I could go on and on and on about the other ridiculous things that happen day to day, but I hope you get the idea.

Pros

Mid-level management and Sales trainers. Remote work. My teammates were pleasant to work with. Sales managers sharpen the skills of their team and will help you grow as a sales professional.

Cons

Where do I start... The interview. I was told by the hiring manager that 80% of the organization was hitting a minimum quota of 40 held meetings and that the company was growing to hit 1000 employees. None of this was true on average, 40% of the sales org was hitting their quota, and they went on a firing spree giving no notice and terminating employees left and right. The HR department was apathetic when I mentioned my mom passing away and lied about the company having an Employee Assistance Program. It wasn't until my manager stuck up for me and called out the BS that was taking place. They ended up having one... The CEO and upper management are disingenuous and view you as a number rather than a business professional. Mr. Bornancin puts more passion into selling his books rather than developing an ethical culture for his business. Brandon went on LinkedIn and claimed he was helping his employees that were affected by hurricane ian. Another lie, he did not allow me to use my PTO during the time I missed work due to the effects of the hurricane. The top two SDRs every month use lists and sales tools that are only provided to them and not to the rest of the SDRs. You are compared to their metrics but not given the tools to hit the numbers they are hitting. While they are making 60-100 dials a day, you are making 300-400 and not getting anywhere close to the conversions they are getting.

We regret that you haven't had a better experience with us. We aim to be fully transparent on the role expectations during the interview process, and we're sorry to hear you felt misled. Our leadership does not see any employee as just a number. Our employees are what makes our company, and our leadership recognizes that our employees are the reason for the continued success. Our leaders are eager for employee feedback, which is why we send out anonymous surveys regularly. These surveys get reviewed by leaders so we can make changes where we see there's a need. We know there is always room for improvement and we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are always looking for ways to do better, and we look to our employees for ideas on how to do so. If you have any feedback or complaints you'd like to share with us directly, please don't hesitate to contact our HR team directly so they can be addressed. Pros

The product is great and your coworkers will become great friends. Summer Fridays are a nice bonus.

Cons

Brandon(CEO) floods LinkedIn with flashy pictures of his houses, cars and boats. Boasting about this billion dollar life he lives and created for his employees. The sad truth is that it’s simply just all a sham. Seamless employees have some of the worst pay, benefits, equity and work life balance imaginable. Brandon posts on LinkedIn about how well they treat their employees. They don’t even give the employees work equipment. You have to buy your own laptop and sign a 2 year contract, if you quit in that 2 years they garnish your check for the cost of the laptop. So Brandon Bornancin the serial millionaire can’t even afford to buy his employees laptops… They offer the bare minimum legal requirements for health care. One woman was paying out of pocket for healthcare for her 2 kids because Seamless wouldn’t make her a salary employee(she was hourly) even though she was generating the company hundreds of thousands in revenue. So many little situations like this where they use loopholes to save themselves money. They raved about stocks for everyone and Brandon on multiple calls told all the employees he would Make them millionaires. They gave some employees 1k shares and the COO(Brandon’s wife) told everyone “we didn’t have to do this”. There are still a ton of SDRs and other employees who still haven’t received their stocks and when they ask about it they get the ole “this is decided by the board”. They’ve since deleted their “Equity for All” for post on LinkedIn. They offer the industry minimum salaries and to make money you need to work 70+ hours a week or have leads fed to you by the inbound team. It’s unfortunate because the product is great and the company has so much potential but it’s being lead by some of the biggest egos this world has ever seen. Unless you simply just need a job, there are so many other better opportunities. You can interview virtually anywhere and you’ll make nearly double the salary, better benefits and much better work life balance. There is a reason they have a 25%+ turnover rate and less than 10% of the reps hit quota.
