Your every move will be monitored, computer idols after 5-10 mins, bdr team is required to be on zoom all day, there is also an AE zoom room youre told to join in down time
New hire training??? LOL more like watch these outdated videos, practice the pitch a couple times and then youre running meetings 3-4 days into starting the role - very sink or swim mentality
Meetings booked arent usually with good ICPs; you will meet with companies ranging from 1-50 people, sometimes youll get a good company that has a sales team over 5-10 people, but you are given the same quota as tenured reps who are given the better quality leads (i.e. companies with more than 50 employees and large/established sales teams)
The bdr team has such insane quotas they book anything and everything with a pulse so you are stuck meeting with prospects who have no idea what theyre are meeting about, who just want "to learn about AI", or who have no outbound sales process and then you are expected to get them to change their entire business structure to use seamless for prospecting
Quality of data is fine, but definitely not as high of TAM coverage as preached
Free trial is offered to get a prospect to join a meeting and you will lose a lot of potential accounts in it because it is very limited
Management seems to be very micromanaged themselves which translates down to the reps
Literally had us on a zoom call on NYE until 9pm since team was not at quota
CEO bragged in the all hands meeting after the holidays that he was tired of being on PTO and was stoked to be back, yet many were not allowed to take days off around the holidays - he also always is trying to promote his books - check out his presence on linkedin and youll get a sense of his ego
Biggest red flag when the top producing AEs did not even hit their monthly quotas
Commission is good on paid annual contracts but you barely can get a chipotle bowl with guac when customer pays monthly
If you want to experience corporate burn out, you found the best place to achieve it rapidly.
